Here is a rather shabby lamp which I picked up from my local boot sale, and altered it to look like this, read on below to see how.
I removed the material covering the frame of the lamp. Using gold twine and double sided sticky tape I covered the metal area by wrapping the twine around all.
I then started to add the buttons of all shapes, colours and sizes, love using bright colours makes me feel all summery. the buttons were attached using gold wire re, wire cutters, long nosed pliers and lots of patience, I continued this way all the way round until the whole space was filled with beautiful bright buttons.
